Bluebird Way was founded by Billi Taylor, a Montana-born educator and lifelong learner with a deep understanding of how students learn both inside and beyond traditional school systems. As a product of Montana’s K–12 public schools, Billi Taylor brings firsthand experience navigating rural education alongside professional preparation that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and advanced training in educational leadership and innovation. Billi Taylor’s career spans classroom teaching, district leadership, curriculum development, and systems-level work, providing a comprehensive perspective on personalized learning and learner pathway design.
At the heart of Bluebird Way—and Billi Taylor’s work—is a belief that students thrive when families, schools, and communities are intentionally connected. Bluebird Way partners with organizations and foundations to manage and steward scholarship funds that support youth, while also designing meaningful learner pathways for students in nontraditional learning environments. Grounded in equity, personalization, and community collaboration, Billi Taylor founded Bluebird Way to strengthen local supports, connect learners to community organizations and youth-serving partners, and ensure each learner’s pathway is purposeful, supported, and future-ready.
